For literacy I made a Imovie about otters.

For math me and Paige did a imovie abot Angles and properties and this is what we learnt ths term.

Today for maths I did a tesalation. The shapes I did was a triangle and a rhombus. They all fit Together with no gaps and its a repeating pattern.

For math we had to make 3d shapes out of tothe picks and blue tack, the diffrents between them is that one has 5 vertices  and the other has 8 vertices. The  pyramid has 5 faces and the cube has 6 faces. they both have a square base   So they are not the same.

This is my tesselation. A tesselation is a pattern with repeating colors and shapes. my one is made with triangles. They are all diffrent ways and diffrent colors.

When you make a sound-loud or soft the sound travels in little particles in the air  and those particles make sound waves. Then the sound waves go up in your ear and hits the ear drum then goes through the cochlear and then it goes though a mase and then it goes to your brian.

With Nigel we had a tuning fork that Nigel banged on the table then it vibated so he put it in the water and then it made sound waves in the water i got evey where and it was blue. the other thing we did is he put glad wrap on a bowl then put suger on it and banged a drum and the the surger went up and down it was so cool. we put two cups and stirng togther and the it was a phone that we can hear out of that was cool as well. and the last thing we did is we hade a spon and to string that went up then you put it up to your ears and then some one hits it and then you can hear the vibration.

Wih Urmi we learnt about onomatopeia that means words that are spelt the same as the sound.  We made a harmonica with two posicle stiks and two cut up straws and 3 rubber bands it made a weird but cool sound.

With Whaea Emma we lernt about the parts in the ear and we put glad rap on a cap with a rubber band round it then we  put rice on the cup we bangad a hole lot of instruments and it did not go up and down it was a fail.

Today for science we  made a harmonica . How you make it is with two straws ,3 elastic bands and 2 ice block sticks. How it works is that when you hold the harmonica and blow the 2 sticks, the ruber band vibrations and you get  a sound out of it.

   I played we will Rock You.

For are school production I was the seagull I was in every bit of the show. I loved my costume. I had a sparkly tutu with wings and a big white t- shirt with orange leg warmers.  We had songs from only New Zealand Arists! How cool. The hardest  thing for me is doing the seagull voice my voice could not get the pich right. I loved the whole production but my favourite bit was  Tane Mahuta’s, it was so cool. The narrators were Jazmin and Nevaeh. Before the performance I felt confident and after the performance I felt proud of myself .

This is my Twits book Report for Nigels literacy. We did a few weeks on the Twits and then we got to do a book report and I really liked the book and I think that this book is good for eveyone.

Today for Monday mash up me and Lily made a iMovie its about Lily being lonely then I become her bestfriend and we go on adventure together and I save her from bullies
